Hey! I’m CJ 🙂 Welcome to the Books, Babies & Brews! I started this blog while I was working on my undergraduate thesis as a way to not drown in all of the research I was doing at the time. And look at us now! Bachelor’s Degree in hand and still blogging away.
This blog started as primarily for book reviews, but since starting this endeavor life has changed a bit. I have two beautiful babies now, which has given me insight into a whole new realm. I’m excited to turn this space into a place where I can now blog about my three favorite things: Books, Babies & Brews.

It’s so nerve wrecking writing reviews when so many other book bloggers out there are studying writing or want to be writers! I felt out of place when I started and I always find it so refreshing when I find someone else like me who book blogs simply because they love reading. 🙂

I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I read reviews and I’m like”Gee, why don’t you just go ahead and publish that kick ass piece of writing”. Haha I love that I have the opportunity to follow people who are interested in the same books I am and that can write that well, it’s just like you said kind of nerve wrecking to post my own! I’m glad we can relate!
